What is a Home Study?
A. A HomeStudy is both a process and a report. The process occurs when a licensed social work agency conducts research of us as individuals & as a couple, our upbringing, background, our current state of mind, home, income, references, medical info etc. & compiles it into a 10 page written report that basically is the story of our lives. This report is read by the U.S government to determine whether or not they should grant us permission to bring our child into the country as a citizen. It is also read ( translated version ) by the Chinese government before the referral of our child.
