Why did we choose to adopt vs. other options?

A.  A true incident that happened to us (right after Mass of all places) with a pair of very proud grandparents to triplets. As we shared our news of adoption, they didn’t hesitate to tell us “why don’t you do in-vitro? you are still young and it’s so much better when they’re your own”. We happily answered that this was the path we decided to take, after all they are all God’s children aren’t they? Although the majority of comments we receive have been mostly positive, we are still amazed that some people feel that some choices are better than others, when in reality it’s simply a choice. Adoption has always been something very close to our hearts, we just didn’t know when we would be embarking on this journey.
